Visas for Travel to Argentina

Tourist visa applications may be submitted to any Consular Office of the Argentine Republic. The authorized stay period for this type of visa is up to 90 days. Visas may be extended for an additional 90 days, at the discretion of the competent authority.

All visitors to Argentina must hold a valid passport. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of departure from Argentina, and must have at least two blank pages for visa stamps.

Required Documents

All applicants for an Argentina visa must submit the following documents:

  1. Completed visa application form (original and one copy)
  2. Two recent passport-style photographs (2x2 inches)
  3. Valid passport (original and a photocopy of the information page)
  4. Round-trip flight itinerary
  5. Proof of sufficient funds to cover the stay in Argentina (e.g., bank statement, credit card statement, traveler's checks)
