Keir Starmer was born on 2 September 1962, in Southwark, London. His parents, Rodney and Josephine Starmer, were active Labour Party members. He was raised in Oxted, Surrey, with three siblings.
Marriage and Children
Starmer married Victoria Alexander, a lawyer and occupational health worker, in 2007. They have two children: a son named Toby (born 2008) and a daughter whose name has not been publicly disclosed (born 2009).
